Amazon Logistikzentrum Leipzig, Germany

The Amazon Logistics Center in Leipzig, Germany, is a large-scale logistics warehouse developed to support distribution operations in the region. The facility is located on a 10-hectare site approximately 5 kilometers from the center of Leipzig and is designed to handle high-volume logistics and delivery activities.

The warehouse and office areas are divided into three structural sections separated by two firewalls. The central section contains the main loading and unloading zone, featuring 23 delivery gates at the front and 23 at the rear of the building. The structure is designed as a prefabricated reinforced concrete system with a column grid of 24 × 12 meters, consisting of approximately 360 columns, 228 roof trusses, and around 900 purlins supporting the roof structure.

The modeling and detailing were carried out in Allplan.

Scope of work:

NS Drafter prepared reinforcement and formwork modeling for various prefabricated reinforced concrete elements used in the project. The work included detailing of sandwich walls, slabs, beams, and foundation elements, ensuring accurate reinforcement modeling and documentation for the prefabricated structural system.
