Monikko School Center, Espoo, Finland

The Monikko School Center project in Espoo, Finland, is a major educational development designed to accommodate more than 1,300 students. Located in the Leppävaara district, the project combines new construction with the renovation of an existing protected school building, creating a modern learning environment while preserving historical elements of the site.

The development has an estimated project value of approximately EUR 39 million and includes both the construction of a new school building and the refurbishment of the original protected structure. The project is managed by Espoo Tilapalvelut, with SRV Rakennus Oy acting as the project management contractor responsible for the overall construction works.

The modeling and detailing were carried out in AutoCAD.

Scope of work:

NS Drafter prepared reinforcement and formwork detailing for prefabricated structural elements used in the project, including precast wall panels for the new school building. The work focused on accurate reinforcement modeling and preparation of shop drawings to support efficient production and installation of the prefabricated components.
