Park Meadows in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Park Meadows in Amsterdam is a high-end residential development. The project consists of multiple residential towers and shared structural elements designed as reinforced concrete structures with a strong focus on construction efficiency and industrialized reinforcement processes.
A key characteristic of the project is the extensive use of prefabricated reinforcement elements, allowing a significant portion of the reinforcement work to be completed in factory-controlled conditions before delivery to the construction site.
Scope of work:
- Reinforcement detailing for slabs, walls, columns, beams, and other structural components.
- Coordination of prefabricated reinforcement systems used throughout the project.
The detailing process involved preparation of design documentation used for coordination and execution logic, as well as production-level documentation used directly by reinforcement factories and site teams.
Reinforcement was organized using a combination of prefabricated mesh panels, KORF reinforcement assemblies, and individual cut-to-length reinforcement bars. Prefabricated mesh panels were produced in the factory with integrated openings and additional reinforcement, allowing them to be installed on site as modular units.
This workflow enabled most reinforcement work to be completed off-site, significantly improving construction speed, reducing site congestion, and ensuring consistent execution quality.
