Precast Bridge Infrastructure Project

This project involved reinforcement modeling and detailing for a precast concrete structure forming part of a bridge-related infrastructure system.

Working in Tekla Structures, our team developed a detailed BIM model and integrated reinforcement directly within the precast structural elements. The model served as the central source for generating fabrication drawings, layout documentation, and setting-out information used during production and assembly. By modeling reinforcement within the precast elements, the geometry, spacing, quantities, and placement logic were fully aligned with manufacturing and installation requirements. The model acted as a coordination layer between structural design and fabrication processes, which is particularly critical for infrastructure projects relying on precast systems. Clear reinforcement detailing helped reduce shop queries, minimize last-minute adjustments, and support predictable production sequencing.
