What began as a student project in 2017 has grown into a civil engineering firm of 45+ engineers, technicians, and industry experts, dedicated to delivering precision drawings and models.
NS Drafter provides formwork and rebar drawings, BIM modeling, structural calculations and steel structure workshop drawings for fabricators, contractors, and engineering firms worldwide.
Our team today bring proven experience across 1,000+ projects, with over 400,000 tons of reinforced steel detailed and work delivered in more than 30 countries.
From Freelance Detailing
to an International Engineering Partner
What began with two engineers and a focus on rebar detailing has evolved into an international engineering company providing structural detailing, steel detailing, BIM coordination, and structural engineering services across multiple markets
Where It All Started
In August 2017, Ognjen and Aljoša leave the company where they worked together and decide to start a business of their own. In October, the NS Drafter website goes live and, together with freelancing platforms, becomes the main channel for finding clients. The idea from day one is clear: high-quality rebar detailing, drafting, and modeling.
NS Drafter Is Founded
Four colleagues from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Nikola, Aleksandra, Milan, and Miloš, join Ognjen and Aljoša. In June 2018, NS Drafter is officially founded as a team of six.
From 6 to 25 People
In May 2019, the company becomes a limited company under the name NS Drafter DCE Ltd., DCE standing for Design, Consulting, and Engineering. In one year, the team grows from 6 to 25 engineers and technicians. NS Drafter joins BIM Serbia, adopts Revit and 3D modeling, and presents at TeamCAD 2019, standing next to the industry leaders they admired the year before.
Full Service Expansion
When the COVID-19 pandemic hits, construction sites around the world come to a halt, one of the most challenging periods in the company's history. NS Drafter adapts and reorganizes by adding steel detailing and structural BIM coordination to its portfolio, starting to work with steel fabricators and general contractors across Central Europe.
Expanding Beyond Borders
and New Office
NS Drafter begins expanding into new markets, strengthening its international presence and opening a new office in the city’s business district.
500 Projects Delivered
NS Drafter successfully completes its 500th project, a milestone built on years of trust with clients.
Team of 50
The team grows to 50 employees, proof of steady, sustainable growth.
Global Reach
NS Drafter's projects now span 30+ countries, from long-standing markets to new regions across multiple continents.
