Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026.

NS Drafter (“NS Drafter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates nsdrafter.com (the “Site”) and provides structural detailing and BIM/CAD services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using our Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly, such as when you fill out a contact form, request a quote, or email us. This may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, and project details (drawings, specifications, or files you choose to share with us).

Information collected automatically by our web server when it answers a request, such as browser type, device type, language preference, referring site, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. These are standard server access logs.

Information about how the Site is used, but only if you allow analytics: which pages are opened, how you arrived, and how you move through them. Section 4 names the two services involved and what each one records.

Your answers to the consent questions, stored in your browser so we do not ask again. Section 4 describes what they cover.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and quote requests
  • Provide, deliver, and support our detailing and drafting services
  • Communicate with you about your project
  • Improve our Site and understand how it is used
  • Send occasional updates about NS Drafter, with your consent where required (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Information

We only share personal information with:

  • Employees and contractors who need it to do their work for NS Drafter and are bound to keep it confidential
  • Service providers who support our operations (e.g., hosting, email), under confidentiality obligations
  • Google, but only if you allow the external content described in section 4. In that case your browser requests it directly and Google receives your IP address
  • Legal authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others
  • A successor entity, if NS Drafter is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Any project files you share with us for a quote or engagement are treated as confidential and are not disclosed outside the parties above.

4. Cookies and external content

This Site sets no cookies of its own, and it carries no advertising. Two things do need your permission, and you answer for each of them separately when you first arrive. Neither loads, and nothing is measured, until you say so.

The one thing kept in your browser regardless is your answer itself, held in local storage so you are not asked on every page. Keeping it is what lets us honour it.

External content. Three pieces of content come from Google, and none of them load until you allow them, because requesting them tells Google your IP address:

  • the typefaces used across the Site (Inter and Montserrat), from Google Fonts
  • the office map on our contact page, from Google Maps
  • one video inside a blog article, from YouTube, embedded through youtube-nocookie.com

Until then the map and the video show a placeholder with a button that loads them, the typefaces fall back to the ones already on your device, and no request reaches Google. Once you load an embed, Google may set its own cookies inside it; those are Google’s, and Google’s privacy policy governs them.

Analytics. If you allow this category, two measurement services load. We use them to see which pages are worth keeping and where the Site is confusing, not to identify you. We do not send them your name, your email address or anything you type into a form:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) records the pages you open, roughly where in the world you are, how you reached the Site and which device you used. It sets cookies beginning _ga to tell one visit from the next.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) records how the page is used (scrolling, mouse movement and clicks) so we can see where people get stuck. It sets cookies beginning _clck and _clsk. Both companies may process this data outside the EEA, under the safeguards described in section 7.

Declining, or simply not answering, means neither script is requested at all. There is nothing to opt out of afterwards, because nothing was loaded.

You can change your answers at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Turning external content off removes the Google Fonts stylesheet and empties the embeds again; turning analytics off stops the measurement and deletes the cookies those two services set on this domain.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, respond to your inquiries, deliver contracted services, or meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Job applications are kept for twelve months from the day you send them. At that point your résumé is deleted from our systems and your name, email address and covering message are erased from the application record. What remains is the position applied for and the date, which identify no one and let us count applications per role. If you would like your application removed sooner, write to us and we will do it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. International Transfers

NS Drafter works with clients and team members in multiple countries. By using our Site or sharing information with us, you understand that your information may be processed in a country other than your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
