Frasers Logistic Warehouse, Duisburg, Germany
The Frasers Logistics Warehouse project in Duisburg, Germany, involves the construction of two large logistics facilities designed to improve operational capacity and distribution efficiency. The development includes two warehouse units that form part of a modern logistics hub serving regional and international supply chains.
Unit No. 5 has approximate dimensions of 143 m by 128 m / 118 m and a height of about 13.96 meters, while Unit No. 6 measures approximately 160 m by 93.3 m with the same structural height. The project was executed by the contractor Max Bögl, with structural design provided by Dipl. Ing. Zoran Velickovic.
The modeling and detailing were carried out in Allplan.
Scope of work:
NS Drafter was responsible for reinforcement detailing, preparation of quotations, and marking of prefabricated elements used in the project. The work also included the preparation of the ABS file required for fabrication and production processes. The structural model provided by the client in Tekla Structures was imported into Allplan via IFC format, allowing accurate reinforcement modeling and seamless coordination with the existing digital project model.
