IT Center, Tartu University, Estonia
The IT Center Delta of the University of Tartu in Estonia is a modern academic and research facility designed to support the university’s information technology and computer science programs. The building serves as a central hub for education, research, and collaboration within the university campus.
The structure is designed as a prefabricated reinforced concrete frame building with a total gross floor area of approximately 25,300 m². The building consists of four above-ground stories and one underground floor. Structurally, the complex measures approximately 120 × 120 meters and is divided into four deformation blocks to ensure structural flexibility and stability.
The modeling and detailing were carried out in Autocad.
Scope of work:
NS Drafter prepared reinforcement and formwork detailing for prefabricated reinforced concrete elements used in the project. The work included modeling and shop drawings for key structural components of the prefabricated frame system, ensuring accurate reinforcement coordination to support the construction of the university’s IT research facility.
